The Victoria Society for Children with Autism (VSCA) is a registered non-profit society established in 1970. VSCA’s monthly meetings provide a forum for parents and professionals to communicate on the issues surrounding autism, and a network for parent support.
Community Living Victoria provides a range of support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
Second Wave is a grassroots group of families of youth and adults with developmental disabilities, self-advocates and professionals from the Victoria Capital Regional District in British Columbia.
CanAssist at the University of Victoria is dedicated to helping people with disabilities improve their quality of life, with a focus on promoting independence and inclusion.
Trainers will develop an individualized coaching plan that will allow you to learn at your own pace. Trainers can focus on your travel needs such as work trips, volunteer positions, appointments or general travel.
Special Olympics Victoria is a volunteer, non-profit organization providing sport, recreation, training and competition to athletes with intellectual disabilities in the Capital Region.
Developmental Disability Mental Health Team (DDMHT) provides non-crisis mental health services for individuals 14 years and older with a demonstrated developmental disability, mental health issue, challenging behaviour and or substance misuse. Camosun College Employment Training and Preparation School of Access Employment Training and Preparation (ETP) programs prepare you for entry-level employment in: customer service, food service, gardening, food production and construction and materials handling.

Phoenix Human Services provides a Self Help Skills (SHS) 9 month or Self Help Extended Services (SHSE) 18 months, programs designed for either individual or group settings for those individuals living with family or caregivers. It is designed to teach a variety of daily living skills such as: awareness and ability to access community resources, health and diet, personal safety and increased capacity for volunteer or work. http://

Recreation Integration Victoria facilitates active lifestyles for People with
Disabilities and issues the “Leisure Pass” for discounted access to recreation

Community Options is a welcoming, innovative organization that is rooted in the
community. We provide Home Sharing services (amongst other services). Home
sharing is a residential option in which an adult with a developmental disability
shares a home with someone who is contracted by Community Options to provide
ongoing support.

Integra Support Services in a CARF accredited organization which provides Home
Sharing supports for persons with disabilities to live an adult life with support
required to meet their daily needs and allow for a level of independence that makes
